De geluiden die je uit de Nintendo DS zal horen brullen, zijn opgenomen met echte accoustische gitaren. Er zullen drie modi beschikbaar zijn. Naast de Tutorial Mode en de Free-Play Mode zal er een Performance Mode zijn waar je naar hartelust bekende nummers kan naspelen. Verder is het ook nog mogelijk je gespeelde liedjes op te slaan en nadien te herbeluisteren. Jam Sessions staat gepland voor de zomer van 2007.
